Interpretation equipment rental in San Diego for conferences, meetings and multilingual events.
Wireless interpretation receivers and headsets for your audience, transmitters and microphones for your interpreters, and interpretation booth setup for large events. Pair the equipment with our interpreters and save on both.

What’s included
- Wireless interpretation receivers and headsets for every participant who listens to the interpreter
- Transmitters and microphones for your interpreters
- Soundproof interpretation booths and advanced audio when your venue and headcount call for them, including full booth setup for conferences with 300+ participants
- Setup and sound check before your event starts, and collection of all equipment afterward
Tell us your headcount and room layout, and we size the kit for you, from a few receivers for a small training to full booth setup for a large conference.
How simultaneous interpretation equipment works
Interpreters speak into microphones connected to transmitters. Every participant who needs the interpretation wears headphones connected to a wireless receiver, so they hear the interpreted message in real time while the speaker keeps talking. Depending on the venue and headcount, advanced audio systems and interpretation booths may be needed as well.
For remote events, participants usually use their own devices. If only some participants need interpretation, we prepare a separate audio channel ahead of time. Learn more about simultaneous interpretation.
PLANNING YOUR SETUP
Sizing for your event: attendee count and room setup
Small
Meetings and trainings
A small group may need only a few receivers and one transmitter. For very small, conversational meetings, consecutive interpretation may need little or no equipment.
Medium
Conferences and multilingual events
Every listener gets a receiver and headphones, while interpreters work in real time from transmitters and microphones.
Large
Large events with booths
For events with 300+ participants, we offer full booth setup with advanced audio, as we did for a UC San Diego conference.
Equipment plus interpreters
We provide interpretation equipment rental and setup at a discounted rate when you book it together with our simultaneous interpretation services. One team plans your languages, interpreters and equipment, so every piece works together on the day.
Need equipment only? Interpretation equipment rental is available on its own too, and booking it together with our interpreters qualifies for a discount.
PROVEN AT SAN DIEGO EVENTS
Trusted at conferences large and small
We provided in person interpretation for a UC San Diego conference with more than 300 participants, using soundproof booths and headsets. We have also interpreted for the San Diego Tourism Authority and the Port of San Diego Portside Academy. See our San Diego projects.

Frequently asked questions
Can you provide interpretation equipment for my event?
Yes. We rent professional interpretation equipment for meetings, conferences and multilingual events, so attendees can listen clearly in their preferred language. Clients who rent our equipment may qualify for service discounts.
What is simultaneous interpretation?
Simultaneous interpretation is delivered in real time while the speaker keeps talking. It is common at conferences, large meetings, summits, broadcasts and multilingual presentations, where attendees need the message without pauses. It usually requires interpretation equipment and may require a team of interpreters, depending on the length and complexity of the event.
What information do you need to quote an interpretation project?
Please complete our interpretation request form with the event date, start and end times, location or virtual platform, languages, estimated number of participants, agenda, type of interpretation, whether you need equipment, and any technical, accessibility, travel or security requirements. The more detail you share, the better we can staff and plan your event.
How much do translation and interpretation services cost?
Pricing depends on the service, language pair, scope, duration, subject matter, turnaround time, location, equipment, travel and logistics. For simultaneous interpretation, linguist fees vary by language pair, event length, day and venue, while equipment costs depend on attendee count and event requirements. Contact us for a quote tailored to your project.
Do you provide equipment for events outside San Diego?
Yes. For events outside the San Diego region, your quote includes logistics and travel, such as equipment handling and hotel and transportation costs.
